About Courtney: Courtney is a firm believer that you can never have too many shoes. She describes herself as a shopaholic, with a special passion for shoes. “I have over 300 pairs!” she says. Courtney also enjoys music, reading, going to amusement parks and eating.

Her favorite singers include Jay Z, Anita Baker, Jennifer Hudson and Sade. She also likes watching “mob movies” and says Goodfellas is her absolute favorite. When it comes to TV, she likes Cold Case, Golden Girls and Good Times.

Courtney knows it’s possible to work full-time and earn a university degree — because she did it. She completed both her batchelor's and master’s degrees in counseling at Lenoir-Rhyne. “You can make some lifelong friends at L-R,” she says. “I know, because I did!”
