Many exciting things will happen during your visit, but the most important thing is that this will be the very first time for us to greet you as a true Lenoir-Rhyne University Student! That’s right…YOU’VE MADE IT! And we can’t wait to congratulate you in person and welcome you to the LR Family!
Below is some very important information for First-Year, Transfer, and Graduate students about the Red & Black Days. Please review it carefully and print it out for your convenience. If you have any questions, or if you need to make changes to your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. If you have not already done so, please turn in your student health forms and immunization records as soon as possible. The University Nurse will be available during check-in to go over your records and answer any questions you may have. For further information, please visit http://student.lr.edu/cornerstone/student-health-center.
Community Service Challenge--100% Participation!
Our Community Service Challenge this year is called Project Paper, and we want to challenge all entering students to participate 100%! Due to budget cuts and the poor economy, we have chosen to help elementary school students and their families by providing notebook paper to area elementary schools. What a great way to become involved in your new community! We are asking that you bring a pack of notebook paper to Red & Black Day to donate. Visit our Project Paper website at www.lr.edu/community-service-challenge for more information! Upon entering the Belk Centrum on this day, please place your supplies on the stage before finding your seat. Don't forget your donation...we're going for 100% participation!
