M.A. in Community College Administration
Instructions for Graduate Application
Application Deadline: August 1st for the Fall semester
The MA in Community College Administration program will be offered exclusively at the Center for Graduate Studies of Asheville.

Applicants on average meet the following criteria:
- An undergraduate cumulative GPA of a 2.7 on a 4.0 scale
- GRE or MAT scores meeting the following criteria: An MAT of a 390 or higher OR a combined GRE verbal and quantitative score in the 35th percentile and Verbal score in the 40th percentile (unless career track applies*)
*The career track option is a unique opporunity where students are given consideration for their professional work experience outside of college. Students must have graduated from a bachelors program a minimum of 6 years ago in order to qualify. If a student meets this criteria, the GRE/MAT score requirement is waived at the discression of graduate admissions.
To be considered for admission, please submit the following:
1. A completed and signed graduate application. You can get the application one of two ways:

2. A non-refundable $35 application fee. You can complete this one of two ways:
- Click here to submit your application fee online
- Mail a check or money order to Lenoir-Rhyne University at the address listed above
3. Submit official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions you have attended.
4. Submit official copy of GRE or MAT test scores*

6. An autobiographical essay attesting to the applicant's reasons for pursing the program.
