North Carolina Teaching Fellows. Lenoir-Rhyne is proud to be one of only six private colleges and universities in the state partnered with the prestigous North Carolina Teaching Fellows program. If you're a resident of North Carolina and a future teacher, this program is for you. As a Teaching Fellow, you'll be awarded scholarship funds in exchange for a four-year teaching commitment in the state. You'll also be involved in a four-year, intensive collaborative research project with one of our faculty members, and have the opportunity for fully funded study abroad (to experience the educational systems in countries such as China, Finland, and Poland).
